Music Scholarship Program

Each year we offer music scholarships to high school students in the Yakima Valley area. Early in the year, a notice is sent to private and school music teachers to alert their students of an opportunity to participate in the Auditions for the financial awards. The students perform before three judges who are well-known music professionals from the area.

Using your Award

The Scholarship Awards can be used to enhance your music skills and capabilities. Some students use the award to pay for music lessons from private instructors and music camps. Others have used the funds to purchase instruments and musical equipment to support their music development. There is considerable flexibility as long as the funds are specifically used for a music activity.
