FRIENDSHIP

At the end of every practice and every performance the Camerata Club of Yakima joins in singing the song Friendship. Members have passed on the message that this has always  been sung by this club.  We can verify for sure that it dates to the 1950's when a 33 1/3 record was recorded from one performance. The song expresses the sense of camaraderie and fellowship enjoyed by the members. We work hard at our practices each week to improve the quality of the renditions of the many great songs selected by our Director for our performances. But, there is always time for sharing good stories, jokes and poking fun at each other. The bonds of FRIENDSHIP grow stronger each week.
